*_Gym advice needed_*

All has been said. I will post just to get a post under my belt and to extend your thread.
Good Luck

It is much more effective to go on a bulk cycle and then cut up afterwards.

It's extremely difficult for the average person to put on lean mass without fat gain.

if your looking to tone, do medium weight and 10-12 reps 3 sets
if your looking to bulk, putting on muscle, lift higher weights 6-8 reps 3 sets
Diet is very important in your case, take isolate protein shakes (no carbs)
and try eating small meals through out the day, so about 5-6 meals.
That will help your metabolism and your body will consume food faster
and lastly drink lots of water and REST! 8 hours of sleep atleast

good luck

ps- not every ones body is built the same way, so you might have to try different
things to get the result you want

Most of what i'm about to say has been said already but whatever lol.

You can go EVERY day and it wouldn't be a problem. You just isolate muscle groups each day. Don't do the same routine every single day. If you work outhard, each muscle group will need a good week of rest. You wanna designate each day of the week for a certain body part.

IMO this is the best way to spread apart muscle groups without having to do a serious saturday workout. Basically giving u at least one off day.

Mon - Chest + Biceps. You don't wanna do chest and tris, since it'll put too much stress on the triceps. Instead you can work your biceps which will becompletely fresh
Tuesday - Legs + Abs
Wednesday - Back
Thursday - Shoulders
Friday - Abs (this ab workout and the thursday shoulders can be interchanged. If you feel more comfortable doing abs thursday and shoulders friday then dothat. Just don't switch it every week and keep it consistent so your shoulders can get the week of rest.
Saturday - Abs if you did shoulders on friday and abs on saturday. You can do it on sunday if you don't feel like doing it on saturday.
Sunday - Abs if you don't do them on saturday

I'm not a fan of isolating my tris cuz I need them for my shoulder and chest days. But if you want to work them out, it would be best to do on your backday aka wednesday.

I really reccomend for you to have a friend show you how to workout. You can find a lot of workouts on bodybuilding.com, but you gain a higher level of comforthaving someone actually show you.

Most gyms also have a curling machine where you sit down and rest your arms on those pads since you said you're looking for machines. But honestlythough, you're good just doing regular old dumbell curls. Workout your back, and your biceps will get alot out of it too. Seated rows, pulldowns, and pullups all use ALOT of biceps.

For biceps, Carlos Tevez mentioned everything lol
but to get a little more creative and shock your muscles
I sometimes on the machine, lift my 90% max so for example 110 lbs 5 times
than bring the weight to 40-50 lbs and use ONLY my left hand and do 5 more reps
than switch and lift the same weight with my right hand.

Thats one set, i would do this 3 more times.
Than i would just do regular preacher curls, dumbell curls
and end it with wide grip pull ups
