Yeah but 50 was most definitely the reason why the album was successful, his story with his lyrics and catchy hooks are the reason why the albumsold well, most of 50's best songs on that album weren't even produced by dre...Originally Posted by Tom Jooks

GRODT's success was due to the Dr. Dre beats. People bought Massacre because they expected more of the same, but it exposed 50 for being nothing but a product of Dre beats...on top of Scott Storch's garbage he was no better than any unsigned rapper on the streets. Nobody bought his next record. Negative people bought his G-Unit trash. He needs Dr. Dre to sell and make listenable music. If Dr. Dre does a majority of this next album, it will move units. 50 is a fool for putting out more Scott Storch crap as a first single. Nobody likes Scott Storch's two-dollar fake Dr. Dre/Timbo beats.

What's so funny? Dre Produced the albums biggest single and 50's biggest single ever. Probably the biggest song released that year.I'm not saying 50 isn't a great songwriter.Originally Posted by Qualmes
@the success being b/c of Dr.Dre beats..You must have forgot 50's song writing abilities

Thats coo but the song on top of the beat made the songs what it is...50 ripped every beat on GRODT and TheMassacre Bangs regardless of what anyone says

The Massacre...... stop foolin yourselves, that was a ******ed hot album, I even gave it flack when it 1st came out, cuz it wasn't GRODT but it is maybe half a notch under it. That album has vintage 50 and new 50 mixed in, before new 50 lost touch.
Curtis wasn't as bad as some people say it is, I will say it wasn't great tho... but 50 on that gutter tip is always 50 at his best, and he had some gutter tracks on there.
I aint worried bout his new album, he gonna do what he do... will he regain that major success he use to have....idk
