The Candy Shop hitmaker's SUV - which was being driven by someone else - collided with producer Pharrell William's and rapper Big Rig (the two are working on an album together) in the early hours of Tuesday morning on the Long Island Expressway. 50, displayed minor symptoms related to post dementia syndrome following the crash, and claimed that rapper Cam'Ron was involved in the collision.
Bruce Miller, who was driving the rapper's car, suffered "minor" injuries and has been released along with 50.
The rapper has had near-death experiences in the past, most notably in 2000 when he was shot nine times in a violent attack.
He was injured on his hand, arm, hip, legs, chest and cheek, and said at the time: "I was scared the whole time. I was looking in the rear-view mirror like, 'Oh s***, somebody shot me in the face! It burns, burns, burns.'"
