A logic error? So you're telling me that if you were to give me this question and asked me to solve it before they fixed this "error", I would have been right? But now that they fixed it, you're going to retroactively tell me, "nah son, you were wrong all along"? Who's to say there isn't an error still? Obviously it isn't 100% dependable.

Which brings me back to the problem of this question being highly ambiguous and misleading.

Here is the proper order of operations chart which shows Multiplication and Division is interchangeable... but like I said, it doesn't matter using the methods that I used to get 2, because it's a parenthetical rule which trumps Multiplication and Division since parentheses comes before both.

What it comes down to is that you either believe in the rule of juxtaposition or you don't. Those who do, get 2, those who don't, get 288. If you take a math class, even though it's not an official rule, you'll learn to use the juxtaposition rule. No other arguments really matter. Either believe or you don't, and let's leave it at that.
