makesomerice makesomerice I'm very sorry to hear about your loss and as a cal poly slo alum I can truly say that she will be missed, it is a real community down there and not knowing her myself it seems that she was a wonderful person who touched many lives. You ever need anything my man let me know

Well DUH, it's you demolishing a meal at In-N-Out. I hope the next time I visit my sister I get a chance to sneak away for a meal at a fast food place.

Is In-N-Out nation wide yet? I think it's a bit overrated personally but I do have one near by so that may have something to do with it

Nope, west coast has that. We have shake shack.

it's not pitbull status yet..
..i'm not crazy about it, but my 3 year old loves it and my Secret Santa recipient loves it too (but doesn't have one anywhere near)..
it's an occasional treat for my son (plain burger with cheese) and usually accompanied by a viewing of "Good Burger". better than feeding him McDonald's right? on that note, not having cable, including him when cooking at home, as well as just not taking him... has kept him away from the devil that fastfood is.

did that even make sense? i need a nap.

In n Out is the TRUTH!

Cars are always lined up..

They've made it as far as Texas, but have a policy of not having locations anywhere that isn't within a certain range of their warehouses. So for the moment they're just located on the West Coast and close to DFW in Texas.

Shake Shack is pretty BA, the last time I was in NY lazing about my brother took me to the original in Madison Square Park. I feel like we've had this discussion in the thread, because I remember typing almost this post.

Are hot dog places still hot in the streets on the coasts? I know we had a bunch pop up over the last 6 years, but I think there's only like 2 left standing now.

NC doesn't have either. Well, Charlotte might have a Shake Shack now, but I think DC is as far south as I've seen it.

In NC we rock with Cookout. Best combo around. Tons of options mix and match, but let's just say you get 2 sides and there are things like Corn Dogs and Chicken Ranch Bacon wraps that count as SIDES.

If you ever see one, I recommend the Huge Burger, Out West Style. But if you go with a tray, make sure to add the Cookout T-Shirt to your tray for an extra $1.99. What other spot breaks you off that $2 shirt?!

Come to think of it......mark my words, and hopefully Dcy reminds me with his photographic memory, but I'll add that to someones package next year

Im a NYC rat so I grew up on hot dog carts. Sadly, there aren't many left and the ones that are around charge like $5. Im not about that life.

Its all about the halal carts now.

Nature of the beast I guess, http://www.luckydogs.us these guys are our street vendor guys, and they've been in business for ages. I never eat them because I think the vendors are kind of gross with how they treat the cart and I don't spend too much time in the Quarter. But even they charge something ridiculous for a simple hot dog now.

carolinakickg carolinakickg Georgia has shake shack so I'd assume you have them too

I only miss waffle house I go everything I'm home

Texas has wattaburger it's pretty darn good for fast food

We just got 5 guys in the last year or two but I'm not super into paying 10+ for a burger and fries

I don't know dude out of all those chains BJ's is always the most iffy for me here in So Cal. Three chains around my area and they are not consistent. Guess it depends whos in the kitchen on a specific day??

I know for at least IN-N-Out. i can have one anywhere and it will taste the same...

Sorry for the derailment.

No white castle, no in and out, no hot dougs, no bj's brewhouse, no Waffle House.. We actually just got a chick-fil-a about a half hour away from me..

Connecticut sucks for joints like that..

I do frequent a diners, drive ins, and dives burger joint.. It was on the show a couple years ago.. Place called Merritt canteen. Always on point .. For buffalo wings we got this place called dewdrop in... Best peanut butter and jelly wings you'll ever have.. Most of their wings are oddly named and combo'd but all taste amazing.

HUGE thanks to @hadowajp for the ridiculously large amount of goodies in my package... pause. I'm humbled by the gesture.

First and foremost the shoes are crazy!! The suede on these is soft like a baby's bottom! Think YOTH with a more closely cut fiber that feels silky to the touch and looks ashy if you rub it I one direction and darker in the other direction. The included note says this is one of the older releases. If all the old stuff is this high quality I'm going to have to COMPLETELY revamp my want list. @hadowajp nailed this one. I'm a quality/material fiend and these kicks are nuts on the material scale! I also have to mention that the sock liner in these kicks is satin. I'm gonna rock these with extreme caution.

The package also included a Benny Gold snapback, tee, key chain and I think the pink thing is a Benny Gold soap bar in the shape of their airplane logo lol. There's a black 510 t-shirt and some 510 stickers as well. Good looks, I'm feeling all the local stuff! At least I'm assuming its local considering the Oakland A's poster that was included haha!

Again, @hadowajp, this was truly above and beyond and if you're ever in Orlando holler at me... I owe you one
