Can you just answer this? Did you really see Walsh, and did he really say this?

Yup 100% sure. And that's the story I stick by, I go tothe garden a lot on my days off it's not the first time I met walsh or the team.

" My plans for next season is to aquire Lebron, if by any chance this backfires, I'm confident enough to trade lee for bosh, Myself and Raptors GM talked about this since decemeber and its a go, Also be on the lookout out for Joe Johnson and slight chance we might get Jared Jefferies back for a low contract since he was a good defender and played perfectly in Antoni system.
I am please to say Ray Allen as also been in our minds as he wishes to be a knickerbocker before he retires and we plan to be that goal happen, Tracy Mcgrady is also resigning with us, Thank you and good night"

 no effing way.

Walsh will be the smartest man in history if he pulls off something like this, What you guys thing?

That is PURE $+%$@*+ bull @%!* and anyone who believes that is a straight up moron.

If you have any sense of logic, you should see through that. Read that post a few times and take everything in consideration...tell me it ain't made up.

Spectacular23 is the same guy who had an episode in the JB forum where him and some fraud hyped the hell out of some "exclusive info and pics" they received from a "JB insider" on "AIM". They ended up teasing and teasing and getting pressed for pics/info until eventually revealing that the "JB insider" supposedly impersonated the real guy and tricked them into believing his @%!*.

Your act is getting old.

Like a GM is going to blurt out all that crap to the public. If that's true, Walsh would be fined thousands upon thousands for tampering.

And if ya smart enough to find that post you should also find in the following post I posted a link to a real sorce go quote that, like I said I don't give a damn if u don't believe, it's the Internet, I'm not about to argue or get into with it with anyone cuz its plain stupid and waisting time so plz enjoy the playoffs and free agency and drop it.

And if u kept up in the jb forum someone actually cleared my name and aim convos were proven, my name is cleared in that forum.

the more and more time goes along i notice most of yall are becoming more pessimistic about our chances at lebron. well i'm going in the other direction. i've never been more sure.

that team is still all about him. all of their "power moves" by Ferry and just so/so. instead of trying to put a legit person next to him they throw him these scrubs who he makes look decent. it's never been more apparent.

here are lebrons last 2 games against an 8 seed. won one. lost the other.

points 40
Reb 8
Ast8
Stl 1
Blk2

L. James
Points: 39
Reb: 10
Ast: 8
Stl: 2
Blk: 3

these are just absurd numbers. a player can't do this every single game of this career and they shouldn't be asked to.

dude is still the entire damn team. Even if SOMEHOW they win the title this year... he has no future with that team the way the league is about to be after free agency. I think he knows it at this point.

If Carmelo was in this free agency this off season, I would think it's more likely he come here with Melo, he's closer to him than anyone on the olympic team.
But he did say out of everyone on the Olympic team, he would like to play with Bosh. I think we are the only team that can sign them both.. So idk

Maybe if he lose in the playoffs, he'll be upset and just leave

Anyone has Newsday and can post this full article??
Stern envisions positive future for Knicks, Nets
April 22, 2010 By GREG LOGAN  [email protected]

Ask NBA commissioner David Stern if it matters where LeBron James goes when he becomes a free agent on July 1, and his answer is: "Not to me.'' But as a resident of New York City, he certainly understands how much the answer to that question matters to Knicks fans.

Describing his experience with fans in New York, Stern laughed Thursday and joked, "It's fun. Since I live here, you can walk...

And i didn';t Know Stern was from NYC. He kind of helped with the cap space... now help us get someone

.. You know Knicks being good will bring more money to the NBA

Danilo Gallinari: "I have talked with Italian Federation President Dino Meneghin but not with the coach Simone Pianigiani. I would like to play but there are some factors to consider: my body and to be ready for the next season with Knicks. I really hope LeBron James (the best player in the League according to Gallinari) will be a Knick. But, however, it is going to be an important season for us" who finished talking about the future of his career. "My project is to finish my career in Italy with Milano". Sportando.net
Chris Douglas-Roberts: I'm sorry but if I'm still a Net next year, our first option should be Amare Stoudamire.Let's be real here. He's the most REALISTIC option. Twitter.com

I honestly wanted Wade from the start, although lebron's the only option who i see that can actually help us win some playoff series.

As long as we get one of the 3 (bosh) i would actually be satisfied. not to mention a point and a center.

I'm looking at Haywood's stats.... 9 years in the league, the most he ever averaged was 10.6ppg

Never averaged more than 10rpg. Well this year he was averaging 10.3 in Washington. His highest any other year was 7.4rpg last season..

His minutes played a part in this but with those stats, How can he be pricey? Is Dallas looking to re-sign him? No way he can demand $10M, he's getting $6M this season.

Maybe he can get $5-7M? anything more is too much

"What I can tell from over there (in Boston), KG, Paul, and Ray take the initiative every day,'' Walker said. "You just had guys be more accountable for everything. That's where it starts. The head coach can only say so much. You have to have guys in the locker room take what the coach says and makes sure it gets applied. There weren’t enough leaders in the locker room.''

Walker's remark underscores the notion the Knicks were doomed from the start because of a slew of veterans with expiring contracts who knew they weren't part of next season's plans. Walker is – astoundingly so.

"I'm definitely excited to be part of the conversation,'' Walker said. "To be part of a group of guys to come in and change the attitude around here.''

Haywood has been somewhat battling injuries in the past, and sometimes, the numbers just dont say it all.

Maybe he was, but still.. no way he deserve $10M a year and he's 31?
And some people were saying Lee only deserved about $9M.....

word i like Haywood i think he is a good player. but to offer him ANYTHING more than the MLE is a mistake... if a team wants to be stupid and drop $8-10 on him, just let it be, no point in getting to a bidding war over him. However he is a quality center and hes from BK, and he would do alot of things that players here do not do, and we wont need alot of scoring from our center spot, just interior defense and shot blocking. so if we can get him for like a $5 mil contract, id say go for it, not many better centers on the market right now.

Report: Stoudemire to re-sign with Suns »

By Frank Isola

A report that Amar'e Stoudemire is working on a contract extension with the Phoenix Suns is more bad news for the free agency-or bust Knicks.

Stoudemire told Fanhouse.com he is working on a new deal and you have to think that should the Suns advance to the second round - a virtually certainty - that Stoudemire will return.

The problem with pursing big-time free agents is that the home town team almost always has the advantage. Manu Ginobili already re-signed with San Antonio and Marcus Camby re-upped in Portland.

If Stoudemire does return to Phoenix, there is a good chance that either Chris Bosh or Carlos Boozer will end up in Miami. It also means the chances of David Lee returning to the Knicks increases, although the sense is that Donnie Walsh doesn't want to spend more than $10 million per season on Lee.

Again, look on the bright side. LeBron still hasn't re-signed with Cleveland. Not yet.

If we don't get LeBron, I don't want us signing any big name...would rather just wait for the next class of guys 'Melo, Paul and Dwill and during that time build through the draft and focus on player development.
