2026 MLB Season Thread

Damn. He disliked the Mets that much he turned down more money....

👀

preller can say all he wants

seidler said he wants that payroll closer to 200 mil

Diaz made the smart move. Mets needed to go 5 years at least. Instead he got a slightly better deal with the back to back champs. I’d make that deal. Stearns is the piece of 💩 who dropped the ball here.

Wow, didn't think we had a shot at getting Grissom, especially for that price.

So Diaz wanted out? That’s wild.

I don’t see the Padres doing **** but moving any big contracts they can move.

Supposedly was upset the Mets didn't tell him they were going to sign Devin Williams.

I don't blame the rangers for hitting the reset button. they struck lightning in 2023 and took the team to uncharted territory, the last two seasons made it pretty clear it was a one time only thing that wasn't really sustainable. makes more sense to tear it down, and get rid of some of those contracts as opposed to being stuck in that 78-84 win middle of the pack territory. they aren't simply a piece or two away from being serious contenders and that fanbase will be content off that championship for a while to where they have a grace period to rebuild it.

Can someone go outside Yankee Stadium wake this fool up and let him know the offseason started

I can’t believe the Mets let Pete go. Maybe because they’re going all in on Tucker or someone else.

Why would you not want an elite setup guy if it doesn’t impact your role or money? That’s crazy.

I would think they're more in on Bellinger now than before considering he plays OF and 1st, now that there is an opening.
