From afar it seems like they're holding out and will definitely spend, but only if they're completely convinced on a guy. The Jung-hee Lee signing a couple years ago was weird, but I understand that was pre-Posey? I think they're a player for Skubal for sure when the time comes. As for second fiddle, it seems like SD has actually earned that right.

Seems like it lit a fire under the other teams that lost. Cashman runs this team like he just wants to make the playoffs and whatever happens happens...
