2026 MLB Season Thread

Been near 40 years for you to actually celebrate something so I guess maybe I can understand your excitement. You can still have this to hang your hat on.

On the bright side, the giants pounded Philly last night and it was awesome. All around terrible night for Philly fans last night

As a Brewers fan, I don't know if I can take this anymore. Year after year playoff choking. Hope they can pull it off in game 5.

Pulling Skubal when they did is insanity to me.
There’s value in analytics. But it’s something to be more reliant on during the regular season.

In the playoffs, all that **** goes out the window and you gotta read the room and the situation at hand and don’t overthink it. If your ace is rolling, let him cook, until he gets in trouble. You won’t be able to use him again until game 3 of the ALCS either way.

Skubal was admittedly gassed last start at what?...97 pitches? And he was all gas tonight w/ 99 pitches so it makes sense.

Cant believe im the contrarian on this tonight, but gotta know the personnel.

He's at 99 but going to 110-115-120 not likely to help him in the LCS. (Or beyond)

Sooner or later, other guys get paid to get outs too.

If you pull him at 57 pitches, sure, make noise about that. But 99? It's the right time.
