He’s probably too old for it now, but I wonder if he could transition into a bullpen/setup role like Smoltz did late in his career as closer. He’s not the workhorse he once was. Granted I don’t even know where his velocity is sitting at this season.

Low to mid 90s at this point of the season. Took a minute for him to get there.

Giants offense just didn't provide him support. He should have at least 4 wins at this point of the season.
