2026 MLB Season Thread

Super late but just saw the display of Hanks 715 tribute they did at the all star game and cutting Scullys full call. MLB is a disgrace for that and this country is a clown show.

Also damn my Braves suck this year. At least Acuna is himself again.

Giants becoming the team I expected them to be at the beginning of the season. Hitting and defense has become more *** each series. The only highlight is the pitching (minus Verlander, Walker, and the Doval's inconsistencies).

I don't even care if they make a big trade at the deadline. If no one can hit consistently, then it's no use. Something needs to change.

Also not lightweight surprised that Devers hasn't hit consistently. I think we won't see him get back to the level of hitting until next season.

i think he'll be great long term for y'all. might even turn it up down the stretch here. great hitter....just a lot of noise this year that understandably can take his head outta the game a bit

I believe that. A lot of the Giants fanbase these days have these expectations that are just ridiculous. It's clear they haven't paid attention to baseball and have never seen a hitter go through a cold streak lol

Reds @ Mets Friday night and Reds @ Nats tonight

You know I kinda realized it a few years ago, but going to 2 games this past weekend I really realized that no food/drink vendors walk through the sections anymore. You have to get in a long *** line to get some food/beer. Kinda miss passing down a $20 bill down the whole row and getting some change and a hot dog in return :lol

Where at?

They still do it at Dodgers stadium.

They still do it but it’s not as much as they used to. Hell the Astros, since I’ve been here (‘90), haven’t ever had hotdog vendors walk through the aisles.

Agreed, that’s kinda been rubbed out at Twins/Target Field… I used to feel for the cotton-candy guy though. Lots of Ls.

Last year at Yankee stadium, and this past weekend at Citi field and today at Nationals park. Today I saw one vendor with some mixed drinks and that's it
