I Wouldn't be surprised if ownership put him up to that. This is a different interview from Pedro puts things in better perspective on how most stars in the last decade or so have left the Red Sox disgruntled with ownership.

I think I would. I don’t know/think Jones is going to crack our lineup anytime soon. Plus you get Sale this year and next, and since coming back from injury prior to last season, he’s been a work horse on the mound.Yankees fans would you do this, seems lofty
