Actually got to hold the flag on the field at the 2004 game here in Houston. My high school baseball coach threw BP for the Astros and was able to get a handful of us in. We were only supposed to hold the flag and then leave.
We go walk the flag back and a bunch of us noticed a staircase leading up to the first level but there was a guard there. A bunch of other high schoolers tried to make a break for it and take off up the tunnel to get in and that guard and a bunch of others took off after them and left the door wide open. We took off and flew up there so fast. Chilled on the first level and watched the whole game. That bomb Soriano hit off Clemens landed 15 feet away from us. Was an awesome experience

I’m watching on my phone because my 3 boys are watching a movie before bedtime. My wife is reading her book, put it down and looked over at me and asked, “what the hell are you watching?” Proceeded to tell her it was the national anthem for the derby and she’s asks, “is that a joke?”
