2026 MLB Season Thread

From afar, Chaim is a damn fool for trading Mookie but John Henry and Co seem to be using him as a scapegoat for their recent self-imposed financial restrictions and other questionable decisions. Once they sell Liverpool I'm sure the Sox will be back to top 3-5 in payroll.

Ownership brought him in to clean house and get under the tax line. The decision to trade Mookie was ownership. The lack of return was Bloom. They both f'd up honestly.

The timing is weird. Ownership was finally feeling the heat from fans, sponsors, players, etc.

Sox and Dodgers really do have some under the table handshake thing going on

What are the Yankees gonna do with Stanton? Dude has been a massive disappointment. Currently at .198.

Guy was clearly not right and they left him out there to do further damge? Im glad he decided to take himself out. I doubt he pitches again this year tho :smh:

Organizational malpractice

HIM out for blood after we attacked the Angels 😭

Hilarious…

Bostonians talking about narcs when their most famous criminal was a literal FED for 15 years.

He was actually brilliant when you think of it though. Had the FBI by the strings taking down his rivals in the North End and was still given authorization to do his dirt AND got tipped off when the heat was finally on. Efficient criminal

But TBH our most famous criminal strangled women.

I saw the story on Matt Olson last week. Today I saw this

As man who has a son with Autism, Matt has new fan for life. I'll be rooting for the Braves all post season (unless they play the Dodgers and I'll just root for him to do well while the Braves lose...lol)

Salute Matt Olson.
