The league adjusted, now it's his turn to break out of it. Outman has shown flashes and has good tools, but his start didn't seem sustainable. Hard to see him not being at least an average bat moving forward though, so there's value there.

Listening to an Angels podcast. They mentioned how bad Ohtani’s sweeper has been, and how much he’s struggled as of late because of it.

First 5 starts - 0.64 ERA , no HRs

Last 7 starts - 5.02 ERA, 10 HRS


I wonder if anybody will have the guts to tell him to throw the sweeper less and get back to the splitter.

Yup fastballs up and sliders in have been his issue similar to how they used to pitch bellinger. Hopefully he adjust or else back to the minors for him.
