2026 MLB Season Thread

That’s rough. Guy was the goods when healthy. Was pretty lights out in that World Series run.
 
I thought Judge went super crazy because it was a contract year last year…

This guy is on pace to have a better season. I truly can’t believe it.
 
Yankees showed how nice it is to have a dependable pen. Holmes sinkers were dirty.
 
The league adjusted, now it's his turn to break out of it. Outman has shown flashes and has good tools, but his start didn't seem sustainable. Hard to see him not being at least an average bat moving forward though, so there's value there.
 
Listening to an Angels podcast. They mentioned how bad Ohtani’s sweeper has been, and how much he’s struggled as of late because of it.

First 5 starts - 0.64 ERA , no HRs

Last 7 starts - 5.02 ERA, 10 HRS


I wonder if anybody will have the guts to tell him to throw the sweeper less and get back to the splitter.
 
Man Manoah sucks this year. I can’t tell if pitching is easy or hard nowadays :lol:
