Finally got back from my neighbor's. Had the game on in his garage. About 5-9 people watching the game and I think we may have woken up the half of the development with JT's homer!! What a shot!!
We stole game 1. Phils never quit NOT.THIS.TEAM!!!
Now we got Wheeler on an extra day rest tomorrow and more importantly...HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE!!! And as the country has seen, we have THE BEST home field advantage!!

Still can't believe we beat the Astros in game 1 in the World Series! So many are giving us no chance. We'll see. But....what a ride it's been!! And it isn't over yet!!

Eh. It was obvious prior to the replay that he leaned in beyond what is considered reasonable, plus it was a curve that appeared like it was about to drop right into the zone. Probably would've been a strike, but it goes 3-0 instead of him on 1st or 2-1. Inconsequential in the end.

Always rep a schadenfreude drop...but I'm less to-do-with the "cheating" but moreso the underdog narrative.
Altuve still my dude, but also root for Bryce an Co. to do this...

haha honestly the underdog narrative is cool, and slander is well deserved when you blow a lead like that. fandom isn't logical though, so not sure why i would expect anything reasonable from other fanbases
zero sum game. the only fanbases that earned their right to talk are the braves and nats. dodgers and yankees fans still talking is very rich to me.thought thomson did a great job managing tonight... that suarez move was great.
can't really get over how poor JV was... from fielding to pitching, just all around abysmal.
i went up to get food at the ballpark after the third inning and when i came back it was 5-3
smhtomorrow will be tough. wheeler is really good. wish we taxed their bullpen in extras but we move. i'm holding a realmuto 25/1 WS MVP ticket and a castellanos 40/1 WS MVP ticket so if the astros lose, hopefully one of those win.

JV been showing signs all postseason - only 2 starts previously or not - that he can be gotten to.
Mariners could've done better than Ray game 1, but eh....
I'm Twins/Mariners but I'll gab at the mouth...Still don't care about Houston and previous "transgressions"...if it goes 6 or 7 and the Astros pull through...no qualms. But otherwise,I want Bryce, Castellanos to get 1. Schwarber and JT not hard to root for either.

Why are official MLB highlights on YouTube capped at 720p HD? Just absurd in this decade.

At least MLB video runs at 60 frames per second.
The NFL still doesn't do that.
Craziest thing is that for standard game highlights, baseball would probably benefit way more from the higher resolution and football way more from the higher frame rate. What are we doing?

I checked the official YouTube channels for the major leagues and the NFL is the only one that doesn't have 60hz video for their highlights.
