Baseball's a cold game. You have to really be on fire or fortunate enough to play on a team that needs you to get that call up. Then you add Covid and how that affected everything. I've got a cousin who's still in the minors, still waiting on that call up. He's relatively young so he has that going for him.

Red Sox pretty much playing with house money. Flip the roster and build the farm and still a top their league with the Stros and Chi Sox.
Ringer had them at 18 in the preseason rankings. 60/1 world series odds and 4th in the AL East.
Ringer had Yankees at #2 and +550.

Have the division basically clinched. Great pitching in Rodon, Lynn, Giolito, etc. Great bats with Anderson, Moncada, Abreu, etc. Should be buyers at the deadline to add to that bullpen. And say what you want about La Russa, but he’s a winner.
