2026 MLB Season Thread

Two offensive stinkers from the Astros. Still took game one.
Just defend home field.

The Astros averaged about 5 runs per game in the 2018 regular season.
They averaged 7 against the Indians in their ALDS.
They averaged 6 in these first two ALCS games against the Red Sox.

Two offensive stinkers? I think not.

9 men left on base in game one. 3 hits going into the 9th, had Chris Sale ready to hand you the game and only get 2 runs. The 9th inning covers a lot of that up. But situationally the Astros left a lot on the table.
Last night went 6+ innings hittless. Outside of Marwins home run and springers double, no real hard hit balls.
Yeah they were stinkers.

Bregman stands ON the damn plate. If I'm Eovaldi, I'm giving him more chin music.

Uhh, I don’t think Bregman has been the problem from Houston’s perspective. He’s reached base in 7 out of 10 plate appearances in the series. 17 out of 23 in the playoffs so far.

Anyone recognize this signature? Found it in a box of random baseball stuff I had.

Jeffress is a bum

Just go the obvious route and close with Hader or Knebel
