Lindor historically (at least since joining the Mets) has been a very slow starter. Had multiple seasons where he ended April around the Mendoza line. Less worried about him than the rest of the bums we signed (Bichette, Polanco).

He was a free agent who rejected the Mets offer. Mets didn’t give him away. He made the smart choice- a little more money with the two time champs.
