Why not take your frustration out on the people that own the team you root for, that can also spend money to get them "out of problems" ? This is pro sports, not charity or communism. My owners heavily invested in downtown real estate right before the pandemic, idiots—they need people in offices and the pandemic was probably already rolling hard through Europe by then—so we’re gonna have a $120M payroll next season.
Even if things were going well for them, they’re not spending a third of what the Dodgers and Yankees are. It’s just a different sport. Trust me, everyone here hates our ownership family (the Pohlads), and they know it so they have no bottom where they’re not willing to land, because they know they can’t make up for what they’ve done so it’s basically like the fans and owners continuously giving each other the middle finger.

Twins fans really deserve better, man. That's a cool franchise that gets legit support when they're doing well. MLB just allows the most trash owners, so I get the frustration. I for one am not completely against a salary cap as long as there's a legit salary floor. The fact that owners in the league won't agree to that tells all of us what we already know.

Yeah there needs to be a better salary floor or else some of these owners, A’s, now us, are gonna keep just benefiting off collective bargaining, while biding their time and not realistically trying to win.
