2026 MLB Season Thread

Hey Dodgers fans. I don’t think Boehly cares about you guys anymore. You’re second on his list now.

He’s treating you guys like this.

Mark Walter is the big bucks in Guggenheim, Boehly has a soccer team to worry about :lol

The things Boehly has done in Europe are insane.

Man’s breaking all types of fiscal records.

The whole continent is an uproar

Doesn’t FIFA have those financial fair play rules? He just paying whatever tax penalties or something? :lol

For the people in here who aren’t familiar. This basically sums it up.

Boehly has spent $735,000,000 in 6 months on acquiring players.

This doesn’t include their contracts.

He probably doesn’t even know who Ohtani is anymore.

Good news for the rest of us. :pimp:

NY Post- Meantime, Carlos Correa’s three deals did provide a lot of drama. But in the end, he may have gotten the right deal — six years with a high $33.3 million annual average — following a lot of headlines. One rival exec predicted no one will ever again get $200M after two failures (one doctor suggested Correa has the worst ankle he’s seen) and called it a “Houdini” job to get that much after a “collapsed market.” But the Twins love him and pay no tax.

I think Correa is going to have a bad year. More pressure on him to perform now.

And I don't believe him when he said that his ankle hasn't been hurt since the surgery. Dude got kicked in the leg and was in shock that he felt the metal inside vibrate.

Chavez Ravine is going to be a riot boo fest when the Padres are in LA this season and next few seasons.
