Sure we do. Rotational around the infield. Allows for a good amount of rest and Someone moves to 1st if anything and Altuve does more DHing.

Brantley and Alvarez have to take the majority of at bats from DH. Who are you going to take at bats away from then? There’s even been rumors of the Astros possibly bringing back Gurriel. Correa can’t catch and he sure isn’t playing CF or OF if his ankle is an issue.

I looked him up on youtube and he was a top prospect for the Rays like 2 years ago. He is a righty who throws a screwball.
I would have liked if the Padres got Johnny Cueto for cheap. But Padres don't have Steve Cohen chedda and want to stay below the next luxury tax level.

Think that would be a given not only cus of the baggage but the contract too. Much more tempting to take a chance on him at $720,000 than $22.5 mil.

I don’t see why Oakland doesn’t sign him and do their usual trade high at the deadline for prospects. At 750k, what do they have to lose? Upset all 13 fans they have?
