Correa has to know something is wrong too tho.

Because he took less money.

If he had total confidence in his health he could have waited for that $350M from SF instead of $315M from the Mets.
 
That’s not always the case. Sometimes teams use it to cheapen out at the deal. Like I’m the yanks thread someone said the Red Sox have done it in the past. I remember a couple other teams have done so in the past.

They can't just make stuff up. MLBPA flat out won't allow it. Hell MLBPA wouldn't let Arod willingly take less money lol
 
From everything I saw/read last night, it was mainly disagreements with Giants FO and Doctors. Not particularly with Correa, and the Giants pulled back. There have been multiple times teams have had injury concerns over physicals and never tried to finish the deal.

Wouldn’t be surprised if the MLBPA gets involved with this because Correa had to take a new deal, for less money.
