"We're on the 1-yard line to create the biggest WrestleMania of all time and the biggest match of all time at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas," The Rock said. "I'll just leave it at that, Final Boss style."

They was tryna make Lex the next Hogan around that time

I sure do remember that crap in 1993. That was the earlier stages of when the company was in its down/declined period. I would say WWF fell off after WrestleMania VIII in 1992 because those '80s stars that carried over to the early '90s kept the company afloat based on their statuses in the game. But they finally got played out that year.

I agree that Lex Luger face turn in 1993 was their attempt to make him the next Hulk. That gimmick change was so backwards to me because he went from The Narcissist who was all about himself to a proud American who was for the country and people.

I'm going to say that 1992 to 1995 was a down period for WWF. Its resurgence occurred in 1996 when Shawn Michaels won the belt at WrestleMania XII and Stone Cold Steve Austin emerged at King Of The Ring.

EYE caught the tail end of Smackdown and SEENT that djlunchbox djlunchbox aka Apollo Sikoa got a rare singles victory over #MyCheerio.
