The black box “MF Doom” are just an inspiration from the original MF doom dunk high while maintaining the black/purple box color.

Doom/black box has the same ostrich on the toe, clear sole as well as the 3m piping.

To Add To This, The Retro Is Missing The “Doom” Embroidery On The Side Panels, As Well As The Doom Mask Tongue Tag Logo. Materials Are Much Better On The Original As Well. Lastly The Stamped Heel Logo On The Retro Is Not Present On The Originals

Any differences between black box Dooms and gold box Dooms?

There's a few. Black boxes don't have any doom related things (tongue tags, Doom embroidery, etc.) on them like the original pair does. Quality likely much better on the regular Dooms as well but I can only assume this since I only have the black box ones. But generally speaking the quality on shoes back then was just better than now. The black boxes are basically a black shoe with 3M hits while the dooms are a gray with black tones and 3M added, and I think the ostrich print is more defined on dooms than the black boxes iirc from what I've seen from other with both. There could be more that I'm missing but that's off top my head info I can think of.

With general questions it takes them forever to respond. But with actual issues they’ve been responding within the same day if I provide pics. On on Parra SB order, the top of the lid have a slice on it, I’m guessing when then authenticator opened it he used too much pressure. They refunded me $30

Guess I've just been unlucky. I sold some Jordans on GOAT and they claimed the box lid was missing, which was complete BS. Because of this I lost the sale and it took weeks to arrive at a resolution. It also took them a week+ to even get back to me in the first place after numerous messages.

I care about my boxes that’s why I had to let them know. If they could get UPS to refund them for shipping and have that go toward me, it won’t hurt GOAT since it’s not coming out of their pockets.

I’m not trying to take advantage of GOAT or anyone. But stuff like this needs to be addressed or it’ll just keep happening to other buyers.

Yea it is lol, they should use a bigger box with air filled bags or wrapping paper to prevent the shoebox from taking damage from the shipping box.

It’s a hit or miss. I’ve had times where the seller canceled the order and I didn’t get a refund till a week later. Even tho I messaged them about it.

I wasnt offended by what you said. I was giving my input as well. One reason I buy from GOAT instead of SX is because I expect them to be better. I know this isn’t completely their fault but better packaging should have been done.
