Saw this comment on an sbcollector instagram post. Objectively I know it's not my money, not my problem so why should I care. But I've seen other comments on facebook pages and instagram from guys who are whining about dunks being more expensive, how cheap they were, how they should have copped when they had the chance...yes, you should have. If someone was so truly into dunks and SBs that they saw when prices were low, why weren't you copping then? Why wait until 2019 to pay $500 for some lobsters that could have been had for $200 two years ago?
I'm aware many other things in life are higher priority than shoes but if you weren't copping when they were cheap it's probably your fault and not Travis Scott's or stockx's. Would love to hear some other thoughts on this, maybe help me see it differently.
Like you said, some things came first. If we could buy every sneaker we come across, we would. I had pair of Thai Temples DS in my sights for $160 just last year. Other stuff came up that I wanted to spend my money on or had to fall back on at the moment.
