I agree. I am sure only a small portion of those bids are people just spiking the numbers. At the end of the day these guys bidding probably could care less about the sneaker and just want to help the kids. Those that want the shoe itself dont and wont understand the true purpose of this auction.
Thanks for speaking logically on the subject. No matter what the bid reaches, the buyer gets to write off anything over MSRP typically. So to someone that can afford them (and there are people that are more than capable) it serves as a benefit for them. People are on IG going off on rants about people having bad priorities and giving financial advice, when in reality they should be reaching out to the actual buyers to see what they've done to be in the position to afford them and the nice tax write off that comes with the shoes.
But for real though... 99k with 9 day I cant wait to see the ending numbers
