Any ideas what material they used on the PBs to get that texture?

Loving these even more but I can't figure out what the material is on the toe box?... I originally thought it was normal Nike dunk leather but in these it looks like it could be suede. Idk maybe I'm just hoping for it lol

It's on toebox, mid panel and upper heel. On the close up someone posted earlier it looks like leather but still hard to tell.
