I've seen some pics where the flashes were activated and others where the swoosh and laces were activated. I'm not sure what the deal is with the flashes. It's like it seems they need a certain kind of light to actually work.

They should've kept the 3M swoosh on the QS instead of Patent leather. Then again I suppose it's better than snakeskin

I know this is niketalk and more importantly, this is the SB thread, but I'm hoping for some help from anyone who can..

The newest Fila x TMNT shoe releases tomorrow at 12pm eastern on Fila.com exclusively. I have both previous releases and besides Adidas Star Wars, it's the only other shoe I collect (I love TMNT, have a huge back tattoo, among other fanboy traits).

Anyways, I'm playing hooky from work tomorrow to take my 6yr old and a couple of her friends to Six Flags for the day for winning this reading competition at her school. My wife couldn't get out of work so it's me +4 6yr old girls spending the day together. And I have no idea how I'm going to be able to grab this release.

It's asking a lot, I know and I don't expect anyone to, but is there anyone here that can help me out? I don't know how but I'm desperate.

Nah the YOTH rope laces aren't really the traditional rope lace. They're kinda frayed a little (like if you took hard brush bristles to mesh.). They'd only draw more negative attention to them.
