2024 NIKE SB DUNK THREAD_____GRs and QSs added

Just got my second pair of valentines day dunks in from martini and boy am I pissed. First off, yes second pair, first pair I decided to skate and the second pair I wanted to keep clean. So I went ahead and skated my v-day dunks to almost oblivion, then the second pair comes in from martini, here's where $hit hits the fan.

I open the box, the suede on the heel of the shoes going up are all effed up. Not smooth like my first pair. I try them on I can feel something like an object underneath the insole so I pull out the insole and I find this reddish nike disc that says V Y 0 2 and has a swoosh on it with a lace stuck through it. I pull it out and begin lace swapping and realize immediately that the laces included are way too long. That was my tipping point, fine, the suede isn't smooth or consistent throughout the shoe, fine that i found some foreign object in the shoe that obviously shouldn't have been there, but now I have to hunt for white laces?! 

Ughh...exhausted, today was a pretty long day to begin with and I come home to this. Martini's site says no cash refunds but I'm pretty heated about this entire debacle. When I want to pay 100 bucks for defective shoes, I'd make sure it's a shoe I really want, these v-day dunks aren't worth the full price I paid never mind the fact that they are flawed. About to contact martini tomorrow, I definitely want to return these, I don't want store credit, I'm heated. 

Knowing my luck, i'll probably end up eating this effin cost.

The 2nd pair of laces that came with Both my VDays and snake eyes were longer than the original, if that helps.

Yeah the gold box period covered a pretty wide range of time. It was much maligned at the time, but now even the blue box stuff is being remembered fondly. The one pair I regret passing on again and again even when the price dropped to a day or two's lunch money are the Big Gulp highs

nothing very special about the shoe, but I like the concept and it'd fit in well with my set of New Balance Convenience Store 574s

Never owned anything before it but the blue box "era" was my favorite..not as many grail/big names like the previous eras but for the most part they were all clean colorways IMO

Reign Skate released them today, call them tomorrow to see if they still have your size but like the others said, they will be everywhere very soon

According to that second link the Resns came in a gold box. I don't think that's correct. Can anybody chime in cuz the ones I have came in a blue box.

Gucci's are a blue box I have a pair as well.

Decided to pull the trigger and cop tiffs yesterday night. Won an auction from a reputable seller @ $306 shipped for a size 11. Not thrilled but just glad I got my pair and no more fretting about not having them. Actually won an auction for 290 shipped but the guy immediately messaged me saying he wasn't gonna sell them to me -_-.

Either way - on to finding Ulrich's and Tweed Highs at a decent price...

Anyway, you can find gold box Poison Greens at decent prices here and there. In my opinion underrated colorway. Love mine.

Well sorry, I didn't know that. I just saw they were $15 normally at Karmaloop. So, it is a sale there, the only place I've ever looked for them.

I'm sorry it came off as me being angry at you, my rant is directed at karma loop for thinking they're giving us a deal by charging more for the laces even on sale. it's no wonder they constantly have a 20% off referral code.
