I actually feel like not that many sbs have dropped this year, at least not more than normal? Regular dunks on the other hand, I feel like someone hit the rapid fire button. Ol boy can barely keep up with the reposts.

I read a rumor in 2026...regular dunks....jordan 1s...and af1 will not have hardly any releases. They all hitting sales hard collecting dust. It'll only get worse in 2025 for em.

I always had a ton of shoes, but these last few years is without question the most I've spent on shoes just because I've moved away from buying worn/pre-owned kicks.

Also want to say the overall value of shoes in general just went up.

I wouldn't say so. I'm just going based off my experiences though.

I remember getting all kinds of Jordan retros in VNDS or NDS condition for like $40-60 dollars...Storm Blue 1s, Flint 7s before the retro, Metallic Blue 1s, Fire Red 4s, etc. I got some "higher" end stuff in the lower 100s like White Cement 4s, True Blues, Dr. Doom Foams, Double Nickel Xs, and a few more.

You can probably still come across some around those prices, but it's a lot harder to find now.

Nearly every single 2024 release I copped was a retro of a shoe I previously had, or had been wanting to come back. Nerf KD4, linen af1, curry and veneer dunks, huf am1. Plus I went back in time and copped space tigers. Most of these new joints don't do it for me, I want the ones I fell in love with when I first started looking at sneakers.

My only cop this year that that wasn't a retro was adidas AE 1 low in lucid lime, my personal shoe of the year.
