2024 MLB Thread; RIP Willie Mays & Pete Rose. Dodgers win #8!

Platanos going back to 10 for $1 this week

From the angle they keep showing, it didn't look that bad. Tag or slide. This seems like one of those things that is personal and has left the baseball field and went somewhere else, fighting.

He was caught with the inside of Ramirez hand, not even a punch. Looked like it was around his ear and temple.

Rodon’s reaction every time he gives up a HR is comical. Wonder if we can trade him this off-season.

The Twins' decision to give Keuchel a look might have been a pretty savvy move. He's still a groundball machine, but even pitching to contact is fine...which is why they assembled the FAs they did with a defensive emphasis. Could be a perfect match for Keuchel at this point.

Been pitching real well with St. Paul and now today. 5 IP, 8 H, but only one earned run. Pagan just threw away his first win unfortunately.

Always skeptical when Pagan comes in vs. the heart of the order. Rarely ever works out. Only high leverage spot suited for Pagan is if it's the back of the order. Surprised he got Christian Walker, but sure enough #5 hitter smacks him.

It's over for LAA...Boston is falling again, but Mariners hot and accustomed to strong finishes.

Dodgers/Padres tonight gonna be lots of runs. I know Lynn has recently been good against SD, but still don't get that move. Probably gets lit up again tonight.

Not trading Ohtani was organizational malpractice and there’s no other way around it.

Just an abject failure of a run with the greatest player most any baseball fan alive has ever seen.

it's crazy, they dropped 2 of 3 to the Blue Jays right at the deadline and then proceeded to win 1 game then lose 6 in a row. Like I can see why they tried when they were somewhat close, but yikes they fell off hard right after making that decision to go for it. absolute worst case scenario.
