It’s a fun experience. It’s cool seeing so many baseball fans of damn near every team all in one place. I went solo but was just talking baseball with a bunch of people so it wasn’t too bad.
I live 15 minutes from the ballpark so it made sense to go. Ticket prices weren’t too crazy either for asg/home run derby standards. I paid about $400 for both. Got nosebleeds and just went to a standing room area where I got a good view.
I could’ve paid around $80 for the derby ticket had I waited until today but I just wanted peace of mind knowing I had my tix so I copped a few weeks back.
