Is that a Beethoven sample?
I’m listening to Smartless and they had Bron on this episode. This dude is lying saying he listens to Mozart and Beethoven in the car on the way to games 🤦🏽‍♂ :smh:

Why do people do this stuff. Not ONCE has Bron posted an IG video listening to that. Dude was just playing Tana Talk 4 on Friday,

Benny the Butcher > Beethoven

Beethoven not cracking the top 1000 if we are being honest.

Next 2 series in the east or going to be intense. I wish Middy could buy a new MCL

For anyone who's saying Grizz will beat GS, could you provide an objective reason? I'm sensing a lot of subjective rhetoric rn.

As much as we all love Ja, he has a lot of "holes" in his game. And I think the Warriors will expose a lot of it in the series. Bane may not be the same player in the 2nd round either. I suspect Brooks will play a bigger role, especially being the primary guy on Curry.
What's your reason Bane won't be the same player?

Just a few surface things that Memphis has going for them:

Got overall scrappy dudes everywhere. On the perimeter. In the paint. All up and down the roster from the starters to the bench. Clarke flying around getting every rebound. Gonna need defensive intensity all series long for GSW

They don't seem to care much about being down and needing to come back. That is definitely playing with fire and GSW isn't Minny but Memphis has a knack for clawing back

GSW is one of the deepest teams left, to match up with them I believe you'll need it too. Memphis definitely has depth

Depending on what he shows for the rest of the Playoffs, there should be more teams interested if it's just for the minimum

Mavs fo sho

GS has a much stronger team defense, centered on discipline. T-Wolves had the ability to switch on everything, but their inexperience debilitated their efficacy. GS has a lot of guys who can also switch in the perimeter, as well as 3 very strong perimeter defenders in GP2 and Klay, and Wiggins. GS has been around the block 4-5x already. This is the first time the Grizz will go up against a real experienced team. Really curious to see if Memphis decides to either play with pace or not.

Brandon Clark has played very well, but going up against Draymond and Looney is a different animal. Jaren Jackson has his work cut out for him as well.

Memphis has shown its inexperience from both the players and coaching staff. They were able to get away with it against Minn, because they too were also inexperienced. The consequences of making those same mistakes against GS are far greater. GS knows this, as well as the rest of the NBA. Ja is also a below-average shooter, who did very well against a Minn defense that chose to rely on its athleticism and gambled quite often.

Albeit, I think the Grizz have a ton of confidence right now. If Jaren Jackson and Bane show out against the Warriors, they can pull it out. And I wouldn't be surprised if they do so. But the smart money right now goes to GS.

Agreed on a lot of this. Some things I expect to directly impact the series:

- Warriors were the 2nd highest turnover team in the league (Memphis is the best team at forcing turnovers)
- Poole has struggled against Memphis in their 3 games this season: 37.8 FG%, 28.6 3PT%, and 15.3ppg (lowest average amongst all playoff teams outside of Dallas). I think its more likely you see Poole regress some than Bane to a step back (as we already seen during the tail end of the Denver series).

-Memphis size advantage -- this may be null and void if Adams is unplayable in this series, but I also see switchable bigs like Clarke/Jaren/Tillman will cause issues for the smaller lineups Golden State will look to play

-While I'm concerned about not being able to 'hide' Ja in this series, I think Golden State should be concerned about not being able to hide Steph. Also, putting more pressure on guys like Poole and Klay to defend Bane/Dillon/Ja. Depending on which team can take the most advantage of this may be the ideal winner.

Ja kills Golden State in just about every matchup, whereas, he struggled against Minnesota (less physicality with GSW). I don't know what it is about the Warriors, but Ja's confidence goes to another level when he matches up against Steph.

Saw your reply last night and thought I quoted it to respond later, but can't find it.

Definitely walking into Round 2 with low-ish expectations. This felt like the ceiling unless we passed Golden State for 3 and got to draw Memphis.

I do think there's some matchups Dallas can work/exploit, but concerned about what Ayton might be able to do offensively.

But this is also going to be a fascinating showcase for Luka/CP3 in terms of who can control the pace of the game because there won't be a more drastic difference in pacing between any two teams in the playoffs.

I forgot to mention this to ill steelo ill steelo let's not forget about Game 5. That was the one game where both Luka and the team TORCHED

So there's some optimism from me that they can get their offense meshing again

idk it's not exact science but seriously, if Pels could take a few games from PHX, DAL should too. I realize Pels are a rock fight type team but Mavs have some scrap too and much more shooting
