Wouldn’t call myself a fan per say lol. My boss wanted to go and asked me to tag along. We were out there for like 3-4 hours. I went to the 3rd parade in Oakland too because the route was right outside my job.
The energy for the first SF parade was amazing though. Everyone happy and smiling. Mac Dre blasting everywhere. Weed smoke all in the air. Great times. Was kinda weird they didn’t route the parade to city hall so that the players could do the speeches in front of the public though.

Moved to Chicago a couple of years ago for, but lived in California for all my life before that. I like both Steph and Kobe but am a Warriors fan first. People might laugh but my favorite player is Jason Richardson

They did the same thing in 2018 with having the speeches at the beginning. The goal was to have players more time to interact with fans along the route. But i think they dont want them too wasted before getting in the mic

From a Bay Area native - We all have our differences when it comes to NFL or MLB, but most of us unite when it comes to the Warriors. Oakland parades were equally as fire with music, alcohol, weed, street parties, street vendors…The Warriors are neutral ground for the entire Bay. Parades are gonna be fire whether they are in SF or Oakland.
I think all fans recognize Oakland Games > SF games, in terms of fan atmosphere tho.
