It’s really sad street hockey never took off.
And what they did to the X games is criminal. Really missed out on some exciting sports
I hope you apply this same logic to whatever job you have. Just blindly work cause other people said.
The league markets the players. League revenue & franchise valuations continue to increase each year.I’m just annoyed at all these gimmicks that the nba has to toss around because players take the regular season serious anymore. Yet they want all the money.
Been getting cooked since I posted it tookiss of death
Falling apart now smh
Michael Jordan also didn't have the access to science or full understanding of his value or else he certainly would have taken games off cause it just makes logical sense.I’m just annoyed at all these gimmicks that the nba has to toss around because players don’t take the regular season serious anymore. Michael Jordan took a december game in Utah as serious as he did/would Utah game in June.

Total league revenue just topped $10 billion for the first time ever.
Sounds like the players approach is working just fine
Took it so seriously he went to Vegas the night before a finals game.

No doubt, I agree. league ain’t perfect. Not that I really disagree but profits aren't exactly an indication that the approach is working. As evidenced by the league exploring changes to how the season operates. Part of that enormous amount of money comes from the fans, who have been complaining for a little while about the players' actions. At the end of the day, all parties involved need to enjoy the product, not just the people profiting

Its a for-profit business first & foremost, so this is a move to get even more money from the TV sponsors.
They’ve already added the 4 play-in games and now you get 1 more from this, plus the added “significance” of the tournament games leading up to the final.
In the process the league also makes an attempt to address excessive load managing.
I went to that game last yearOrlando vs Detroit in December like usual every year except it means "something" this time really got folks up in arms lmao
Doubt it, Mike was a maniac and came up in a completely different era. Sounds good though
