props to Brad for acquiring brogdon. short of phx getting KD without having to give up book, this is gonna be one of the best acquisitions of the off season. celts definitely needed a playmaker and ball handler who wasn’t turning it over 4-5x a game

windhorst dumb *** gonna call every celtics win a “check book win” now

We didn’t realize it at the time. But Durants foot being on the line on that game 7 shot against Milwaukee last year was franchise altering for the Nets. If his foot was just a few inches further back on that shot, there’s a strong likelihood they win the title last year. In this case even if they still have the 2021-22 season from hell, they have a title to fall back on. Harden possibly doesn’t want out so fast and there’s more incentive for them to try to make it work.

Possibly franchise altering for Milwaukee as well. Because if that shot was a 3 and the Nets win the series, Giannis is ringless and the can he win in Milwaukee questions would be getting bigger and bigger.

IT is crazy how basketball can be a game of inches

sometimes.

For instance if Vlade's tipped rebound is a few inches too the left or right, Big Shot Bob might not have enough time for that buzzer beater and it would be the Kings who would've won the WCF and likely the championship that year.

Shaq and Kobe would've one less ring and CWebb and Mike Bibby and dem would've got one.

Crazy how the Celshiits get Brogdon for nothing

Teams really hate Rob, Klutch and the Lakers like that huh

You’d think they’d hate the C’s too since they have as many chips as us but instead it’s like teams wanna help them win more

Early winners

Lol what does brogdon going to Boston have to do with the Lakers?

What was the market for Brogdon really?

If he can hold up for 50+ and the postseason, really good win-now move by Boston.
Yea, injuries killed his value. He played 33 games last year. Boston should be able to load manage him and keep him ready for the playoffs. Upgrading to Brogdon from Derrick White is nuts in theory.
