It's not entirely a bad idea for new Houston management to flip both Watson and then Watt...Watson is top 4/5, but he'll toil away in Houston with how they were setback by BOB. Those moves mean you start from scratch, but you should be able to have a wad of draft capital to make the turnaround quicker.

wonder what they can get for watt at his age.. don’t know what’s left on his deal

If someone offers three or four 1’s, then you definitely look at it. That roster has lost a lot of talent so Watson will rot there. Bad move to keep someone that wants out.

Watt is pretty old and has had so many serious injuries. Can’t see them getting more than a 4th or 5th if he wants out.

Believe he only has a year left on his deal.

again, a lot of those moves that were made weren’t made solely by BOB. Easterby was behind the Hopkins trade. Easter by is still in that front office.

Watt is only 31. He’s not that old. He can become more of a role player to add more longevity to his career.

So it’s probably up to Watt. Whether he wants to retire a Texan or go elsewhere.

going be 32 in March.. but still a solid player but then he’s had the injuries

trying think of the best comparative example for him.. cause I think he should be able to get a 4 year deal at decent money that’s like 2 or 3 years guaranteed

He could probably get like 4/45 or somewhere around there. Not that old but serious injuries.

Only team that can offer a better package for Watson outside of the Jets are the Jags and we all know they aren't even gonna entertain a deal for him.

Arik Armstead, Mike McGlinchey, Our 1st and 2nd this year, Our first next year for Watson.

Make it happen, Lynch.
