even the league saw it was an issue and made more of an effort to get better games last season

I really don't think there's anything tangible the league can do to ensure these TNF games are good. Ultimatley, you're asking 2 teams to basically play a game 2-3 days after their last game. Very little time to prepare,& rest. Of course the quality of product will be compromised. This ends up residually effecting the corresponding teams next game as well.

As much as I love having 1 more game to watch during the week, I think it's best to eliminate TNF all together.

i think the season should open on Thursday night AND then you don’t play them until the week after byes start (so week 5 it starts).. and then you stop them the week after byes stop

so you use teams coming off of byes in them.. and there should be 1st half byes and 2nd half byes, so teams get 2 bye weeks

but first couple weeks that don’t have Thursday night games, should have double Monday night games
