2020 NFL Draft Thread

As with free agents, only real issues is medicals

sucks for smaller schoolguys, exposure wise

I guess you sell it on dudes having their moment

For the best

The next 6 weeks will be telling to see if even May is feasible to work

I think it gets worse..

Hopefully, like the flu virus the warm weather kills it

but it’s hard to have any faith in trump and co

Yeah better to overreact now while this administration drags their feet

I mean I can see some good lessons being learned from leagues from an entertainment standpoint.. and obviously goes without saying voters and the Republican Party hopefully learn some things

I mean I know old school scouts want to see guys in person and pull out their own stopwatches

but considering aint shhh else on tv, nfl could make a killing viewership wise

Unless intentional, I don't see a BB coached team losing enough to land that high a pick.

this offseason (so far) feels like it'll be intentional

i know that's not in Bill's DNA, but doooo something, Bill. for **** sake.

Can we just merge the threads now because ain’t no more games and always gets confusing with multiple threads on draft night

They want to delay the draft, but so far Goodwill is holdin firm and saying no. And for once, I agree with him. I want/need the draft to stay where it is. Sports as a whole needs it.

2 weeks from now, we could be in much worse shape, so still not outta the clear yet, but I'm hopin we make it. 🙏

:lol @ Goodwill.

Yeah, no need to delay the draft. NFL just needs to stay the course, for the most part.

If I was rog.. only change I’d make is the format

might as well blow things out.. could do the 1st round over 2 nights

2nd round should be it’s own night.. 3rd and 4th on Friday night.. then 5-7 like 2 in the afternoon

Unnecessary. If anything, they should revert to the old format and give us a full weekend of the draft.

I’ve been hella outta the loop on this.

What’s the current plan? Draft with just the players and the commissioner? Or just a TV broadcast of the picks?

I completely disagree, especially with the lack of anything right now

I don’t agree with the crazy talk of making each round it’s own night/day

And spreading out the 1st round over 2 night might be much

but so much they could do just covering the draft from the teams and players.. easy to get a ton of content to spread it out.. before and after the picks and reviewing each of the teams and talking legit football and how guys fit in within their units and on depth charts and all that jazz

I just dont need it like that. From a business perspective, sure....theyll probably make more money, but capitalizing on this circumstance is exactly what youd expect anyway...I'd much rather spend those other nights with my family than spreading this out for no reason. That's just my perspective though.

I mean the business is obvious..

but I’m talking about from entertainment standpoint.. the more you space things out you get time to discuss and properly digest.. plus you get all the action with teams talking and restacking their boards..

plus depending on how things play out through the draft guys could be made expendable once teams see who they get or can get
