i think MJ, Kobe and Bird were elite but KD's volume and efficiency from the perimeter is something we never saw from those three. different eras and style of play impact that, but even kobe was never close to being in the 50-40-90 club like KD

Kobe was never THAT kind of shooter, so he shouldn't really be in the convo. Bird would be shooting like 8-10 3s a game if he were playing now. He was fully capable, but that just wasn't how the game was played at the time. MJ would also be putting up more, and would probably be good at it, because that's who he is.

Good points. KD's efficiency from all spots on the floor is definitely among the best the game's ever seen.

But like you said, era and style impact it, and it would have been interesting to see how Bird and MJ's style would have evolved in today's game. But the mid range game though of MJ, Kobe, and Bird imo trumps KD's, percentages notwithstanding

I forgot what it looked like to have a genuinely good nba player be able to come off the bench and make a difference. It’s just pre season but I can already tell Gallo gonna make such a difference there

I don’t expect too many consistent mins for him yet...The coach prioritizes defense so much so he’ll play MCW and T Ross gon be back when the season really starts

Like Kobe didn't hit 10-12 footers in the lane his entire 20 year career with centers and PF's in his face lol.

Remember when Kobe drilled a fadeaway three with 7'6" Yao directly in his grill let alone mid range jumpers. Lol
