2019 NFL Draft Thread

You know you don't mean that.

Niners and JETE won

Raiders if they're lucky.. no QB should go over bosa and Williams

I don't know man... If I'm a team without a franchise QB I'm taking Murray over them. From a business standpoint, you take the guy that's putting people in the seats and selling jerseys. The QB is the face of the franchise for the most part. You've got at least 2-3 years before the fanbase turns on you if it doesn't work out. Now if we're talking about long term then yeah I can agree with you. I just see the NFL as a business first nowadays

it's the NFL, you're going win no matter what for the next 50ish years at least

if i'm the cards and i dont buy in on the QB (which is why i dont fault teams for passing on QBs.. HOWEVER, i do judge them if they got scouts that say absurd shh), i'm stacking my team and building talent

next year you could have clemson QB, oregon QB and bama QB.. cards arent going be great, again

but you gotta be able to support the young guy when you get him too.. look at the giants with their crap oline and great talent everywhere else and a average to mediocre QB

Yeah, but if you're the Cards owner you're not thinking about 50 years down the line. You're thinking short term. You're thinking about how to maximize profits for the next few years. As you said, they're already making money. Playoffs and championships are just icing on the cake for them. Revenue is king for owners regardless of what they tell their fanbase.

If the Cards really cared about Rosen they would stick with him and not go after the new shiny toy in Murray. They would commit to him and build around him but that's not the case. If the Cards went 0-16 with Murray and someone offered to trade for him so they could take the dude from Clemson they probably would think about it. Players are replaceable for the most part especially if they aren't performing up to standards.

This is why I have no problem with players holding out to get paid. The NFL is a business first and foremost...Everything else is just extra.

I like Landon but he’s had some injuries and he’s only had one great year for us. He gets beat bad on coverage but he’s a good stopper and can hit. I’m not mad if we keep him or let him go. I’m a little shocked they wouldn’t tag him and see what he can prove this year.

This dude has been pretty money with his info on the Bucs.

White at #5?

Boy can he run but 5????

He’s not better than Roquan and he went #9.

I mean we’d love to trade back and get him but idk if he’s gonna be there at say 10 or so.

There’s gonna be some fire at #5.

You wouldn’t rather Greedy or one of those edge players.

Nah I trust Devin White much more than Greedy.

Which edge player you talking about falling to us?

Told you clowns months ago Kyler going #1 was a done deal.

Greedy looked like crap in the drills. Baker didn't look like one of the best either.

Byron Murphy will be the best CB from this class from day 1. He's a natural.

Greedy has the athleticism though, so if he gets the coaching, he'll pan out and be right up there.

Just CBs or DBs on the whole?

Greedy got the most raw talent, but his technique was terrible and it shows on the field as someone said you can beat dude all day on slants.. if I needed a CB day 1, give me baker

Do really like couple of the safeties out of this class

Just out of the guys who will actually play CB in the League.

1. Murphy
2. Baker
3. Greedy

Julian Love looked pretty good too along with one other guy I can't remember now. Wasn't too familiar with him.

Edit: Iman or whatever from USC, but I guess he's more a safety prospect.
