2019 NFL Draft Thread

I don't disagree with either of these statements and the physical part of the combine was far from being one of the worst we've ever seen. Hell, Reuben Foster went ape**** on some nursing staff like 2 years ago. I think this is just a combination of teams trying to nitpick things and teams leaking stuff so he drops. I'm sure he will be a solid pro, but I could see where some of these interviews would give teams some hesitation.

I mean I get it.. but I don’t get the writers writing the stories

But we know teams will F with dudes purposely just to see how they react

But I could see him being a poor fit for a couple teams anyways.. I mean the biggest knock on him ive seen other than size is false step that gives him away when standing up

Disappointed Nasir Adderley isn’t working out

Hahahahahaha, Daniel Jones over Haskins. Wouldn’t even be surprised and it proves my point, they’re scared to draft a black QB that early. If we do draft Daniel Jones, it will make it that much easier to watch football because I won’t be as invested.

But I’m not familiar with either of those twitter accounts and one is a Red Skins account so I don’t believe it. Supposedly our GM likes Haskins but if they pick this white scrub, football will be less stressful for me.

Legit saw a mock with him in the 2nd now last night.. seeing stories about "worst combine of all time"

I mean I get bosa and josh Allen over dude, which is the obvious cause those guys are going top 5 worst case top 10 as josh allen's case.. but after combine now dudes like sweat, burns and Gary will go over him

I'll happily take dude, see a lot of Derek barnett in dude.. and Barnett was only 4.88 in the 40

It happens atleast once per year

All 3 other teams in the division started black QBs before '04

I mean the Giants haven't needed another QB since Eli been there because he's always healthy.

We giving the Cowboys credit for a black QB when he stands for nothing was undermining Kaeps movement?

The Eagles defended and kept a racist on their squad and pushed their black QB out there to take pressure of him.

You think Dan Snyder is some progressive dude?

So yeah racial issues in the NFL is league wide.

Race is a country wide issue in American (and unfortunately for too many other places in the world)

And as I said, the 3 teams in the division had black QBs in the 80s

Snyder didn't own the team until 99.. Jerry jones didn't own the cowboys until 89

However, both have had multiple black QBs in their times owning the team

Giants have had 1 in their entire history.. the franchise kinda was around before eli

Greedy gonna need that 4.3 to chase guys down, Deandre Baker doesn't.

Greedy's technique is terrible, but dude got the tools if coaches can get through to him..

But the Holyfield 40 surprised the hell out of me

Exactly. So what point are you making?

The Giants existed prior to Eli.. every other team in the division had black QBs prior to Eli being drafted.. and yet Giants didn't have a black QB start for the team until December 13th, 2017

Which is last of every single team in the league

Eli aint even the longest tenured starter in the league

And again the Eagles defended a blatant racist. They hired a coach that players themselves had questions about.

So if we pointing out teams being racist lets tell the whole story and don't cherry pick. That ain't how you address something as serious as racism.

I mean in 2019 Giants fans gotta talk about the "type" of black person that will scare off the team
I don’t know if our team will draft a black QB like Haskins.

Kyler is more Russell Wilson black so I don’t think he scares them away.

Eagles had a black HC in the 90s

And to be fair to chip, wasn't he the last coach to start kaep and also defended him? I remember kaep winning some team related award

Also he brought John Carlos in to speak to his Oregon team.. I don't know chip personally, but chip's biggest problem just seemed to be his people skills

^ not just defended...but PAID MONEY to

Contract was signed prior to the incident.. but it obviously still was bad.. but they supposedly went and spoke with the leaders on the then team

Was still a great day when dude was cut.. and chip's lack of people skills also got him up out the paint when he didn't do simple shh asked of him by the owner (hence why I say he had a dealing with people issue and not a race driven issue)

 it’s always gotta be some excuse...

Kyler ain’t black enough so he doesn’t count.

Dak doesn’t stand with Kaep so he doesn’t count.

And everyone else is cherry picking?

One thing we can all agree on... major LOLs abound if the Giants take Daniel Jones at 6.
