2019 NFL Draft Thread

I still don’t know how Quincy started but again, very few black QBs before 04 in the NFL.

Every single other team in the division had a black QB start for them in the 80s

Even the cowboys

The eagles had 3

Ricky was a RB not a qb.

Black QBs not named mcnabb to start for eagles before AND after mcnabb

We even had a Mexican:

And a Native American:

Eli is better than every last one. Didn’t know Bradford was Native.

no Eli isn't.. Eli is the luckiest bad QB in the history of the league.. if not for those 2 Super Bowls and his last name being manning he would have gotten run out of town at least 10 years ago

But he'll get into the HOF because of 2 super bowl wins and his last name

Pretty funny what is happening to the Giants defense now and especially the dline, but yea keep talking Eli and drafting a QB

And I didn't know that about Bradford either til he got on the team

Just realized... some must want Jachai Polite REALLY bad :lol :rollin

Sabotage for a gain is the old trick in the book :lol

Ehhh Eli isn’t “bad.” I get you’re divisional opponents but you can call a spade a spade. He’s not elite anymore and maybe never was in the regular season. But absent the last few years hewas never “bad.” At one point he was even top in the league in some respects. I’d be ok with calling him “slightly above average to mediocre.”

You're right.. bad is a strong term

But dude is about to get into the HOF, which is the point.. the Giants since Eli has joined the team has won double digit games 5 times, so 1/3rd of the time which is almost the same amount of times that he has thrown 20 or more INTs.. dude is the frank the tank of QBs

Hell if any argument was going be made because of his actual play it would be his 2014 and 2015 season, which ended up with mcadoo getting the job.. they won 6 games both seasons and then 11 mcadoo's 1st season

Legit saw a mock with him in the 2nd now last night.. seeing stories about "worst combine of all time"

I mean I get bosa and josh Allen over dude, which is the obvious cause those guys are going top 5 worst case top 10 as josh allen's case.. but after combine now dudes like sweat, burns and Gary will go over him

I'll happily take dude, see a lot of Derek barnett in dude.. and Barnett was only 4.88 in the 40

I think it was moreso the interviews that are turning teams off. Responses like this dont necessarily make you feel comfortable on how coachable someone is

^ yea.. obviously there is a lot we don't get to see.. but from the little we did, sure it wasn't great but "worst ever" is pretty strong

Guys have left before and performed worse

Hell look at Orlando brown last year

From that video it seems like some of those quotes are being taken out of context. He seems likable in that interview to me. Just being funny. But maybe they don’t want dudes to show that type of personality at basically a job interview.

I don't disagree with either of these statements and the physical part of the combine was far from being one of the worst we've ever seen. Hell, Reuben Foster went ape**** on some nursing staff like 2 years ago. I think this is just a combination of teams trying to nitpick things and teams leaking stuff so he drops. I'm sure he will be a solid pro, but I could see where some of these interviews would give teams some hesitation.
