Remember how "RB's are not supposed to be taken in the top 5/First round" of the draft?

Seems to me like 1st round, top 5 pick Zeke had a huge impact on the game against the jags defense



Melvin Gordon, 1st round pick in 2015, shredding the browns for 3 TD's



Jags struggling to put up points without their 1st round RB Fournette



Todd gurley, 1st round, top 10 pick with 208 yards and 2 TD's

I feel like there was a transition period where RBs were kinda lackluster and the league was also going pass crazy. Then stocky pass catching RBs showed up on the scene to hit people in the mouth and it's been a very good formula for success

Crazy thing is Bortles’s stat line was damn near identical to Daks minus the INT. We have no running game and the D played like ****. But keep the narrative.

True. Blake didn’t have a stand out game (which he rarely does), but even if we scored 28 or 30 points, everyone would have blamed him anyways. Just like they did versus the Pats last postseason when he out played Brady. The defense gave up 40 points. Bortles is the 3rd Reason on the list IMO of why we lost.
