Houston still had the game won until the Nene block from Draymond that transitioned into a Klay 3 pointer. No reason for Nene to have even been out there, he’s given them nothing this whole season. D’Antoni’s rotation was sus as hell but Trevor Ariza in foul trouble ****ed up everything.

But Klay and KD played a lot of minutes D’Antoni might be on to something

Harden will be gassed all series.. they are switching to him on defense almost every play and if they don't he is chasing around klay Thompson.. he has to bring it on the offensive end as well this man is going to burn out by game 3.. let's not forget he dribbles around for 15 seconds trying to shake his man..

For Houston to miss free throws, go completely cold from 3 in the second half and have almost double the amount of TO’s the Warriors had, you would think Houston lost by 20+. Houston out rebounded the Warriors handedly and had just as many points in the paint. It just puts things in perspective when KD was hitting any shot he wanted while on the other end PJ Tucker couldn’t buy a shot. Yes, the iso plays cost them the game but it had no business being as close as it was. Rockets go back to minimizing turnovers and it’s really a series. Klay and KD can’t play 40 a night every night.

Crazy watching TV and In the gym today and everyone knowing what the rockets have to do in order to win

They can’t win. They can’t beat GSW 4 times in 6 games. It’s over.

The Rockets can’t win. A team that won 65 games this year has no shot. James Harden, a guy the rockets MUST PLAY in order to have a chance is hemorrhaging points on defense and there’s no bigs in switches for CP to exploit. James got fried off the ball and wasn’t even worse on it. The dubs may literally take CP out of this series, something I feared for bro.

They. Can’t. Win. And nobody else in the league can either. That’s the conundrum with facing GSW you have to have multiple elite level two way guys/Wings who also are elite in ISO (plus homecourt) to realistically have a shot and the cap doesn’t allow it.

The score was tied at the half and Houston had the momentum. If they weren’t being bone heads celebrating Harden’s back to back dunks, Nick Young wouldn’t have been left wide open to hit a wide open 3 to tie the game. And then CP whiffed a pass to Capela to end the half. Harden was on fire and was calling for the ball. A poised Rockets team would have been up by at least 3 at the end of the half...

Ariza was meant to be chasing Klay off the 3 point line the whole night. He was the hot role player outside of Houston’s main 3 as well. His 5th foul was extremely questionable. Gerald Green was getting torched by Klay and started sagging off and that’s when sandwich nose really started hitting everything.

I was watching the game last night at work. Was able to catch the last 5 minutes. I just kept shaking my head the entire time. This whole thing just sucks. It was an easy 40 but I felt like that went into D’Antoni’s game plan of living with KD getting whatever he wants but limiting everyone else. Ariza stays in the game and Klay would’ve had under 20. He got a chance to get in rhythm cause Gerald Green couldn’t hold him. By the 4th quarter he was hot.
