Jake Delhomme is the best mediocre QB of all-time. Second would be Eli Manning. Third probably Brad Johnson.

Only saying this so my cuss infused post isn't on the front page.

Well he's been to one more super bowl than all Vikings QBs in the last 23 years

Heard this from NT in '06, bro...Still wasn't new to me then. It isn't now. :lol

Yeah, the team I cheer for ain't won ****. What do I have to do with that and how weak is that as a counterargument to deflect a real debate to go that route?

Answer: Not a damn thing and very gahdamn weak.

At least you saw the young GOAT Randy Moss for a couple years

Don't be rational! :lol

Yeah, it was something.

People will think what they will, but to be real, TO was a bad man...but he wasn't sniffing the jock of Moss.

For one, TO willingly took a backseat to Jerry Rice and JJ Stokes. Moss just took it, but respected CC along the way, but never conceded.

That alone won't traverse anybody to Moss' side, but to be real, I don't understand what people did see in T.O. that they didn't think they saw in Moss. Going over the middle was largely a farse and there are VHS tapes from '98-'01 that prove it.

@collector had a huge tantrum against Calvin Johnson as a top 10 receiver of all-time. I respect his opinion, but I don't agree. Calvin was straight up dominant. The guy saw triple teams...3 defenders and still came down with the ball. The origination of that came from what I saw with what teams tried to do with Moss. It did not matter. Moss, being the first of his kind, was absolutely unstoppable. Owens was not that. He wasn't. You could frustrate him, you could double him, you could let him roam, he would drop it. He was beatable. Moss...WAS NOT.

Moss played with a receiver, who for the longest time, until Fitz, was regarded as having the best hands in NFL history. Moss bested him on many occasions with one handed scoop grabs as if he had a first basemen's mitt.

Speed? Moss was the new and is the now -- precedent, given his size..but even if not. Gazelle, like.

T.O. might have had a day or two against top CB's, but for Moss, Woodson and young Revis was a field day. It always had to be this showdown, but of course, it was played down by the networks (ESPN) because it really wasn't as dramatic as they liked it to be...Moss won outright...easily.

I peeked this thread when TO didn't get in the HOF...TO is not first ballot. He's assuredly deserved of the HOF, but the whole "Moss ain't first ballot if T.O. isn't..." that's just so damn ridiculous.

I fully do not expect Moss to be first ballot, but if anyone does, he more than anyone deserves it. I hate ESPN, but listen to the dude talk about football. He's the one of the better moves they made, recently...He knows his ****!

I think TO is the overall better receiver, once Randy lost that step it was over for him

TO played more years at an elite level

I loved TO. And his success as a top receiver was sustained longer than Moss, but Moss is just the greatest to me.

When he was on the Vikings they were lowkey my 2nd team.

I remember the moon game like it was yesterday.
