Kaepernick donates another $100K; over halfway to $1M target
Jack Browne Apr 20, 2017 6:00 AM
Colin Kaepernick is more than halfway toward his goal of giving $1 million to organizations supporting oppressed communities, after his foundation announced Thursday the quarterback has donated another $100,000 combined to three non-profit programs, according to USA TODAY Sports' Tom Pelissero.
The $100,000 was split between Silence is Violence, Life After Hate, and Leaders of a Beautiful Struggle.
Kaepernick, who remains a free agent, has now given away around $600,000. All of the 29-year-old's donations and details about how they'll be used can be found on his foundation's website.
Silence is Violence is a group that fights institutional violence on Canadian university campuses, particularly sexual and gendered violence. Life After Hate is run by former members of the violent American far-right extremist movement, who aim to "counter the seeds of hate we once planted." And Leaders of a Beautiful Struggle is a Baltimore-based grassroots think tank that works to "change the discourse around local and regional politics by injecting community voices into political conversations through policy research, advocacy, and community organizing from a grassroots perspective."
On Thursday, Kaepernick was also named one of the "100 Most Influential People" by Time magazine.

You just get ready to send the Carr in for busted taillights
What is this, the third year running now that the Raiders and Jets have played each other? Actually I think it's four years in a row now, since Derek opened up his career @ NY.
Not too sure about that... that Chiefs defense continues to look thinner with each passing year...
We were playing the goddamn Bills every season for a while
