Celtics have one playmaker, the Bulls have 3.

Your best player can't be 5'9" and expect to win in the playoffs. Their rebounding issues were well documented. They are outclassed and being outcoached as well. 

I think him being 5'9" is irrelevant though. Pair him with another playmaker and his efficiency improves.

He can probably be the top scorer but not your overall best player. I like IT but his defense is a big flaw, he needs dudes to cover that up.

Thomas being 5'9" is very relevant because of small & trash he is on defense. He has a ton of heart & is a great scorer but he can NOT be your best player if you expect to win a championship

He's a bad defender at the least important position on defense in the league. Outside of one straight line drive by Rondo, he didn't get killed.

He's got 5 sets of eyes on him every trip down the court, 5'9" or not.

Felt this way last season. Combination of his Size+Style of play being your primary offensive machine is not winning a championship. He's a hell of a player but his faults are glaring.
