i got a chance to see Kerr speak at a local college event and someone asked him about his rotations and why he's so insistent on getting "rotation guys in." kerr mentioned that his role off the bench as a player impacts a lot of his coaching philosophy and that to this point, having dudes on the bench play consistently throughout the season means that they're ready to step in during the playoffs, and not just during the end of blowout games. he also mentioned some other stuff about making sure everyone is incorporated into the team and has an opportunity to shine.
i see his point and you see how it works. while i find that **** frustrating at times, you can see the confidence he has in dudes like iggy, mccaw, shaun, dwest, and ian clark; and for the most part, it's paid off.
for the sake of tonite, i need kerr to fall more in love with javale and keep zaza on a tight leash. zaza has been really disappointing in the finals, seems like the moment is too big for him. it reminds me of how bogut ran out of gas in 2015 by the time the finals came around.
